Carex morrowii Irish Green

Height: 0,2–0,3 m

Carex Irish Green is an ornamental grass, popular for its distinctive green leaves and ease of care. Its leaves are 1-1.5 cm wide, leathery but not too sharp, upright and slightly arching. It grows only 30-40 cm tall and forms impenetrably dense clumps without being invasive. It prefers partial sun, so avoid planting in direct sunlight. It needs well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate, but the soil should never be allowed to dry out. Thanks to its size and requirements, it is an excellent plant for borders, but also a good choice for planting in larger pots and containers, and in combination with annual and perennial plants.
